It is home to 6 state-funded universities and 3 private ones, with an average of over 60,000 students. Among these universities, \u201cBabe\u015f-Bolyai\u201d University is the largest, with more than 40,000 students. The university was named after two prominent Transylvanian scientists, the Romanian physician Victor Babe\u015f and the Hungarian mathematician J\u00e1nos Bolyai. Its distinct feature is the multicultural character \u2013 it offers bachelor, master and PhD programs in Romanian, Hungarian and German languages (of course also in English, French, etc.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cluj has a vibrant nightlife and landmarks dating to Saxon and Hungarian rule.
